I have a 2000 4x4 auto quad cab dually that I purchased on the cheap 8 months ago to mess with but with my other 2 trucks I havent had the time or funds to fool with it.

The truck has 208k and power everything. The bad is that the dash is busted(I have a new in the box factory dash $430 from dealership) that will go with it, The trans doesnt want to shift right or hit OD and it needs tires.

The truck is black with camel interior leather seats that have some cracking. No rust any where.

What should I expect to get on a sale of this truck? If I were to list it at $6,500 would I still be to high?

Unless you are willing to sell it on the cheap like you bought it I think it would be easier to sell and bring a better price if you had a private automatic transmission repair shop repair it as cheaply as possible.

I don't know what you've got in it, but it's not worth a whole lot until it's sound mechanically. The dash can be overlooked by a lot of people..... with the transmission fixed and no other major mechanical problems, I'd say it'd go in the 9-10k area..... but I've not seen it in person, heard it run, or seen what the exterior looks like either..... having an independent shop look at at and give you a bid might not be a bad idea. If they can fix it for $1000 or less, it might be worth doing, depending on what you have in it.
