When I'm towing my 5er, I put about 75# of pressure in my rear tires. When I'm not towing, I take them down to about 45#. When we go on trips where we stay in the same campground for several daysor weeks, I'd prefer to deflate the tires to 45 rather than leave them with the higher pressure. It's a real pain in the butt now adays to find convenient places where you can get air, so I am looking at a 2 gal air compressor that I can take with me to eliminate that inconvenience. Is two gallons big enough to add that much air to a couple of tires?

I have a small tank-less air compressor that I use for inflating the truck and 5er tires, in addition to my bicycle. It works well and is pretty compact and light. I can fit it in one of the storage compartments under the dinnete in the 5er. The size of the tank really has very little effect on how long it takes to fill the tires. Compressor air flow in at a given pressure is the determining factor. I bought the compressor at Home Depot for $100 a couple of years ago.

I just got a Porter Cable that I put in the bed same reasons. Holds pleanty of air. Plug it in about once a week. Does what it is designed to do. I also run my exhausr brake off of it. When I'm going to use the exhaust brake I fill it up each day.
