2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What size are my nuts ??

LOL, hey guys, long time no talk to. Anyhow, I did my brakes the other night and ran into a small problem on the rears. What size is the nut that holds the rear wheel bearings in place ? We ended up doing it the old fashioned way by backing them off very carefully with a small chisel. Not my preferred method but it needed to be done pronto as I was metal to metal on the right rear . I'd like to have the right socket for next time. If it matters mine was made in St. Louis.

2 9/16" I believe, my dad just went and bought the socket for it. I will call him and verify.

Mine was made in STL, too. I've always favored US nuts over Saltillo nuts, which, I believe, are called cojones. BTW, the socket is 2-9/16 with rounded corners - axle nut socket for Danas.
