Ok gents, I need some recommendations for a slick and wheel combo for my 94 Ram. I'm not too keen on running at 86+mph in 4WD at the drag strip, and my truck will not disengage 4WD unless I first lift off of the throttle... not very conducive for quick e. t's!! What i'm looking for is a slick 33" tall (I run 285/75/16s on the front which are 33" tall) and a wheel that will not stick out of the wheel wells. 16" slicks are mighty expensive, and generally don't come in narrow widths to begin with, so i'm guessing 8 lug 15" wheels are in order. Question is, how wide, steel or aluminum (taking into account wheel screws so the slicks don't turn on the wheels), what slick (33" tall, I guess 9-10" wide?) and what manufacturer for both the slicks and wheels.

I run Hoosiers on the GN because they seem to last the longest before the sidewalls turn to crap under the 700+ft/lbs the car makes (at 3700lbs). I'm a little up in the air about what to run on a 3 ton turbo diesel 4x4. Any insight?
