My 2015 Ram 2500 6.7 Turbo diesel has been awesome. With about 120k miles on it, I returned home from a short 30 mile trip into town. Shut the truck down got out and attempted to lock the doors with my key fob as usual. The doors did not lock. Tried all of the function buttons. No Panic, No lock/unlock and no remote start. Stick the fob into the ignition and the truck starts right up and runs fine. Repeat to process noted above with same result. Try my other three key fobs. Same result with two out of three and one fob just totally dead to include not starting the truck. (new battery in the dead fob changes nothing). Trouble shooting so far nets zero obvious leads. I have several tried several OBDII readers and AlfaOBD as well. I am at a loss. Any feedback or suggestions appreciated.

How are the truck batteries? Maybe disconnect them if they're good. Sometimes a reset clears the simple things. Good luck.

Both batteries are "top notch". Both are only a few months old and I am one of those guys that keeps my truck on a battery tender any time it is parked at home for more than 24 hours.

Key fob battery?

Sounds like your key fob receiver has died or be reset. It will be in one of two places: 1 the dash key switch or 2) behind the rear seat, (PITA to get to). I believe yours is on the switch. It all depends on the options the truck came with. I think the accurate name is the RKE Hub. I have heard of resetting them by unplugging them but not sure that will work to be honest.

Edit: There is a fuse for that thing. You will have to check your panel or owners manual but it used to be fuses 11 and 28 that controlled that system. There are multiple hubs in the system and there are two fuses as a result. Other hubs are for the TPMS system, etc.
