Finally got the B1-2 today. Decided to go for it tonight. Got it all tore apart and sure enough the freakin downpipe I got from Piers doesn't fit. Doesn't even look like the right connector for the B1 clamp. Sure as hell doesn't line up or fit the clamp. I will refrain from flaming but damnit nothing pisses me off more than getting I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER tore apart and not being able to put it back together. I sure as hell am not going to put the stock turbo back on it at this point but now the truck will have to sit until I can get this figured out. I will call Piers in the morning just wondering if anyone can tell by these pics what is going on? Considering the downpipe doesn't look like it will even work with the B1 clamp, is it possible they sent me the wrong down pipe for a different gen truck and/or turbo? Thx

Mine did the same thing back when I had a PDR 40 and I had to make it work with a piece of flex and some of those flat clamps so I could make it to my appointment at SunCoast for my transmission. I think I could have made mine work but I wasn't gonna ruin a overpriced Banks exhaust for a $110 d-pipe.

What's wrong is piers gave you an HX-40 Downpipe. You need a B1 Downpipe. Totally different flange.

call him ASAP, I'm sure he'll overnight you the right downpipe!

Either way is doesn't line up heighth wise just like mine was, at this point no matter what flange you have it won't line up untill you get the openings on the DP and the exhaust housing to line up.
