Just joined and already, in 15 minutes, have earned my money back. Great site. In this day of digital messaging (dm) and political correctness (pc) and what the hell are you talking about (wthayta) and did you really say what I thought you said (dyrswitys) you may understand my frustration with lift pump (lp) used in the same article with volume pump (vp) and wonder if there is a guide to language code library (gtlcl) located anywhere on the site (s) that could help me interpret the vernacular custom? (itvc) Just kidding of course. I worked most of it out already but this could be a real challenge in the future if I had a really serious problem. Oo. Thanks, Chris.

VP is short for VP-44. The VP-44 is the fuel injection pump used on the late '98, on up to '02 24V (24 valve) Cummins powered Rams.

LP = Lift Pump - Designed as a pusher, installed by DCX as a sucker :-laf
