Ok Ok, I realize that the Next Gen Ram isn't available yet and that's why this forum hardly gets any postings and is thus, pretty much lame. SO, I think it is time to spruce it up a bit. I think we at the TDR site should take a note from the boys over on the Chevy site. You remember back when you couldn't even ORDER a D-MAX yet they were all on there talking about how it would out do anything and (my personal favorite) OUTLAST everything else out there. Well, I don't think we should be shy. Sure, we can't even dream of getting a next Gen Ram yet, but that shouldn't stop us from making outlandish statments about it. So come on guys, get into the spirit of things!

There's gonna be a 475hp ecm reflash available at no chargde from the dealer. . supposed to add 4mpg lower egts and reduce emissions.



DC's also going to extend the warranty bumper to bumper for 350,000mi just a a show of good faith. . they last sooooo long they don't expect any claims



I almost forgot. . the new allison is 6spd auto with a double OD that'll give it a top speed of 165mph but it'll be governed to 105 because of tires

Actually the 350,000 mi warrantee is the bumper to bumper one. The engine warrantee is longer! anyone know for sure?

Steer by wire?

I heard that the next gens will have steer by wire controls w/ adjustability from Ferreri mode to Peterbuilt mode. The new track bars will have peusoelectric sensors that will reduce wander by 10 times. I also heard that PS has a new box that INCREASES engine noise by 2-10db w/ in cab adjustability. That way you can keep it quiet for the neighbors and crank it up once you on the road.

You have it wrong on the warranty, it will be only 1,000,000 miles, but extended warranties will be available according to my source. I herd that they will be puting 5 ton portal axles on the 4x4 for best in class ground clearance of 3 feet, and able to clear 44" x 19. 50" boggers.

Well, you guys have pretty much said it all. I agree with everything so far but ya missed the most important part, the free sticker, that of course adds 10 hp if stuck on a window, or 15 hp if stuck on the tailgate for pushing power

Yeah, Juiced. I drove a prototype, and it was great!



I also saw a Shelby Ram with a Hemi Cummins! Stripes down the hood and box, and it was a roadster to boot! The soft top looked great on it!

You forgot the 6-71 roots blower to help low end throttle response. I heard from KwikKurt that he's been contacted by DC about B1s as OEM equipment on the base models. the 'uprated' rigs are getting twins

I heard they were gonna go the T-Rex concept 1 better and come out with a triaxle model-to make it look more proportioned you would be able to get a 6 door crewcab as well!
