I am building a sled pulling truck and was wondering what everybody is running. I was thinking about running 33 inch interco truxus tires, too big? I was thinking of running 16 by 10 wheels? Or should i go 8 inch wide? Getting ready to buy and want to make sure i buy the right ones. Thanks guys. The truck is stock hieghth except for a leveling kit and i will hang wieght up front.

Lose the leveling kit. 33" or 35" tires will work. Don't get a super aggressive tire. Especially if your running a manual. I like the BFG AT. Jwilliams3 and Sledpuller with say the Mickey Thompson MTX's.

i have the interco truxus in the 33x12. 50x16. You'll want to get the 16x10 wheel if at all possible. It will make the tire lay really flat to the track. I have them on a 16x8 wheel and is wearing the center a little more then the sides.

Good advice on the BFG AT's and 33's. Be careful running aggressive tires they can cost you some big $$$ when they grab.

So far my Mickey's have claimed: nv5600 mainshaft and a rear driveshaft.

Overall I think having 2 sets of tires at every pull is by far the best route. If you have any doubts about the track stick on your all terrains. If everyones kicking up dust and rooster tails put the muds on.

That was just the question I was wondering. 5lo or 2 hi.

Why is 5lo obsolete? break to much stuff (how would it compare to 2hi)?
