Hitch alignment with gooseneck and no back window

gross combined weight

I have a question I hope someone answer... .

I have a 2001 Laramie, QC/ AT/ long bed/camper-trailer pack/

4:10 gears... stock except for pillar gauges, lineX liner, smitty nerf bars.

I tow a 24 ft 5er with slide... approx 8000 lbs.

I do not want to bomb the truck but want something that gives more power, mileage etc and an exhaust brake.

Does anyone have suggestions as to which system would be good for me to install, Banks,BD or ?

Also... would installing these item void my warranty. . I have the extended one also.

I have a similar setup... 99 4x4 QC short bed AT that I pull my 10k pound 30 foot 5th wheel. I wanted more power w/o voiding the warranty and killing my truck. I opted for the Edge Comp Box so I could have the adjustability down the road for more power if I get a heavier trailer or just get power greedy. I haven't taken the 5 step box above level 2 yet b/c I don't want to hurt the trans but I can not believe the difference it made. The truck unloaed now drives like a gas truck and pulling my trailor nows feel like it used to be w/o a trailer. Money well spent, mileage went up and EGT's and temps are comparable to what it ran stock. I actually enjoy pulling my trailor now on long trips and challenging terrain. My buddy also has just the Edge EZ box that isn't adjustable and he is more than satisfied with it. There is no drilling for mounting and they are easy to pull off if you have to take your truck in so you don't have to debate the warranty issue w/ the dealer. Good luck.
