Sorry if this is a beaten horse, but I'm a newbie when it comes to 24V Trucks. I am looking at a 1999 QC Duallie Cummins Auto 2WD with 128,000 Miles. It is for sale by the Original owner, 5,000 Mile Oil change intervals ect... What problem areas should I look at (for)? The truck runs out great, and feels pretty strong. It is completely stock, with no mechanical mods. The trans seems to shift well in all 4 gears, and there are no funny noises, except when it was cold I could hear what sounded like a fuel pump running from what seemed to be under the fron of the bed (or rear of the cab) from inside, as I drove the truck ~1/2 Hour, it got quiet. Thanks in advance Murfman

Most important

Know that is has a #53 block this can be verified by looking at the engine block just above the oil pan skirt. Do some reading on the #53 block if you haven't heard of it. Just so you know what you can expect in the future. Other than that look at he lift pump and the VP44= injection pump to see if they are painted or shiny so you know if they have been replace yet.

Good Luck

Craig
