Hi all, Getting ready to order my new 2003 4x2 4 door dually. I was hoping for some input on how I should order this truck. I made some mistakes when ordering my 98. 5 and I want to get all the right stuff on this one. I will be towing alot so I think this time I will go with the manual shift, last time I ordered the auto and had to sped alot of cash to get it strong. Any advise will be great. Oo.

Tow mirrors

Premium cloth seats

rear stroage tray

High output, 6 speed

tow package

I personally like the front hood deflector option

i like a limited slip rearend especially on a 2wd

most of the others are personal preference i think

The Laramie package gives you some nice options in the package. I like the heated leather seats, but you may not like them in FL. The side air bags are a consideration and if you are going to be towing heavy or in hilly terrain, 4. 10's are also worth thinking about. You might consider trying to get a good price on a Jacobs brake from the dealer when you order. I think you will like the 6 speed, it is pretty smooth. You have already made the most important choice, sticking with the CTD:D . Good luck.

I ordered a the rear slider and leather since I didn't get them last time around.

Definitely order the fold-flat storage tray.

Heated mirrors. . Cannot live without them! they work awesome in rain, and I know it rains alot down there in Florida. . They keep the mirror virtually dry. just something to think about.

A whole lot of people must, I hear they are backordered forever:{ . It makes a lot of sense to order the truck the way you want it because it cost a whole lot more to add on later.

Strike the Snow plow prep and get all the rest of the options!!

I priced on out a 6speed HO with everything but snow plow prep and side curtain airbags and came up with a $43K+ sticker. I have seen several Ferd and Chubys with stickers near $50K. With mark-ups like this no wonder they can offer 0% interest.

Cleaner,

Definitely get the 6 speed! Limited slip diff, and electric tow mirrors.

Then, if you can swing it just get the Laramie package and that will take care of most of the creature comforts you could want.

If you could get the dealer to install the Jake brake and include it in the finance package it would help.

With rebates of $2500. 00 it ended up at $36. 952. 00 before Tax and plates. Oo. Oo. Oo.
