what to use on leather apparel

I am buying some new leathers. So i was wondering what to use to protect them, coat, boots, chaps, gloves, etc. Thanks for any input you can give me. Pat Brehm

Lexxol works great on smooth leathers, i alos used to use Harley Davidson "Leather care" with excellent results.
