Of course the Dodge Factory manual in my glove box does not give the quantity of ATF+4 required So I went to the Haynes book and it gives me 4 different transfer cases to pick from. My truck is a 2004. 5, 3500, 4x4, 6sp, SWR. What transfer case do I have?

if you have the t-case lever on the floor, it's the NV271. There should be an ID tag on the back side of the case that says for sure. I'd pay attention to that more than I would me.

The manually operated transfer case (lever on the floor) is the NV271 with fluid capacity of 4. 7 pints. The electrically operated case (switch on the dash) is the NV 273, with fluid capacity of 6. 5 pints. ATF +4 is specified for both units.
