As a very newby I am confused... the window sticker says "47RE" while the order was for a DGT. The sticker in the glove box says DGB with a DHA torque converter. ????? Does any of this make a difference? Where the best place to get a manual that might decode this ? Should I get a shop manual or other refence for this and similar Questions? I got a good manual with my 12 valve cummins with my Itasca. My questionws will get fewer and better with your help!!!

After 1996 Dodge Ram transmissions behind the Cummins is a 47RE .
The numbers you are referring to i believe are build codes used by Chrysler dealers.
