Does anyone know what make and how many speed manual trans was offered in a 2006 1500???

I looked up in my manual and there were TWO 6 speeds available for gas models.
One is a Getrag 238 with ratios similar to the G56 and then a T56 that has much higher overall ratios. The manual doesn't say which comes in each truck. I would GUESS that the T56 comes in the 1500.

the T56 is the viper transmission that comes in the SRT-10 pickup, the getrag is what come with the 3. 7L or 4. 7L in the regular production trucks
