2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What Truck Service Manual

Hi Guys-Just got a new 02 truck with the 6 speed & 4. 10's. Really love it compared to my old 96 with the 5 speed & 3. 55's.

Hoping someone will advise me on the best service manual to get and if there are any must do mods that need to be done now, or anything thing else that I need to know or be aware of.



Didn't care for the 03 models with the 6" longer wheelbase on the 4 door model and I needed a long bed.

Hope this don't start a war.

Factory Service Manual...

I would recommend getting the factory service manual. Just the wiring diagrams alone will save a lot of questions and time when you’re adding something to your truck. The number to call is located in the back of your owner’s manual. But here is a thread on that subject from about a month ago. Check it out.
