What turbo comes on 250hp? 305hp? 325hp?

What turbos come factory on these engines now. Is it still the HX-35? I heard from a few people that some of the engines come with an HX-40. Is this true. What turbos are out there for these trucks that will support 500 hp on a twoing truck?

The DD Jammer Turbo is rated at 500 hp. Don't know how it would do towing, but it spools fast.

Ashley, The new trucks come with an HY35 turbo from the factory

The only problem with the DD turbo is it uses a full 4" outlet which requires the removal of any turbo mounted brake (ie the jacobs/mopar exhaust brake). However, the inline brakes will work.

Thats a good thing. Turbo mount brakes on the '03+ trucks suck.

The turbos on the 04. 5's have an hx40 sized compressor wheel.

why? they seem to work for me.

my pdr ksb-1 turbo was a direct bolt on with my pac brake.
