Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) what turbo is this??

it says PART #3596393 HY35W for a 2000 235hp stick shift. Are they right? is this really what we call a HW35 or a HY35????

its an HY35 you can tell by the band clamp and it would be actually on an 01 235HP auto

Yep that is an HY. You also can tell by the Hardline wastegate along with that infamous band clamp. Bob ya nailed it 01 autos only. 9 cm2 housing too
