What injectors, pump, fuel supply system, RPM, etc, do you plan to run? We need more info, as the turbo recommendations change as power increases, and where in the RPM band you want the power. If you want all out performance, and are willing to give up some bottom end and spool, you will want a different turbo from what, say, MMiller would want on his towing rig, where low to mid range power is desired. Speak of the devil, he may have some ideas himself. I think transmission choice may affect what turbo you want.

Why does everybody think I know what's going on around here? Stall speed of your torque convertor is going to govern the turbo setup and choices. If you choose one too large, you will never spool it up hooked to the sled, thus building no boost when the truck wants to leave the line. If you can't build boost before moving the sled, you run the risk of never lighting the charger on a heavy sled. Actually in one instance of me pulling my 93, I was unable to light the charger using second gear, low side of the t-case. The sled was very heavy, and to protect the clutch I had to come out easy. Now my truck just stays hooked to the trailer.

I would think that KTA maybe would be best to answer this question. I'm not sure that even something that works on a 12 valve would work the same on a first gen.

Another important question is what class do you want to run in? Is there a turbo limit?

There now after that, have you learned that I don't have the answer either... . :-laf
