I just see everywhere the new ULSD fuel. I just want to know what would you use. Any recomendations please. Currently I use the Stanadine Perf. Formula. Am I doing the right thing?

Same I use. I feel totally safe with it. However, the VP44's not only need the lubricity, but GOOD psi (13. 5 +_ 3), GOOD volume (3/8" lines, full flow fittings), really well filtered fuel, and NO free water.

Beyond that I personally think heat is a problem with the VP44 and a OAT blower is a good idea especially after shutdown.

IF my current configuration with extra filtering, blower, larger lines, full flow fittings, RASP, does not do it then I am going to do the P pump conversion.

To make up for the lack of lubrticity in ULSD fuel I'm considering using 1 guart (ashless) 2 stroke oil mix (for gas engines) every other tankfull of diesel.

The other tank fulls I'll use Stanadyne.

I'm researching everything I can to protect the new VP.

I'm using AMSOIL's brand new ULSD compatible Diesel Concentrate.

(taken from the AMSOIL website)

Diesel Concentrate (ADF)

AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate has been reformulated with additional lubricity properties. The new AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate (ADF) is a total system cleaner and lubricity improver for all types of diesel engines, including automotive, light truck, heavy duty and marine applications. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate compensates for the quality variances of different fuels (including biodiesels) and the deficiencies of today’s ULSD for better engine operation.
