I just had new tires put on my '99 2500 and the tire dealer said my stock steel wheels were out of round and I should replace them with alloy (aluminum) wheels. I have searched the forums and haven't found an answer to my question. What stock Dodge 16" alloy wheels will fit on my '99 without modification. I also haven't been able to find any aftermarket wheels with the proper offset. I'm running 285/75Rx16 BFG All Terrain T/A's. Help!!!

I also have a 99 and unfortunatly the only thing that will fit is what you got. Alum will not fit without modification to your rear brake drums ( which I do not recommend if you pull a trailer) you could also go to the alum off a 3rd gen I have been told they will bolt right on

That is right. The only stock alloy wheels that will fit are 17" from a 3rd gen. This is what I ended up putting on my 99. 17" tire selection is limited, but getting better. You should be able to get basically the same BFG tire that you mention in a 17" size. I went with 285-70-17 BFG All Terrain T/A's.
