I was searching for a tall and narrow tire but can't find anything in a all terrain. So now I'm researching 315's in either 16" or 17" (since I'll have to buy wheels any 16 or 17" doesn't matter).

I see some people are rubbing and some aren't. So I would like to know who's using what wheel if they are not rubbing, what kind of back spacing, etc. I would prefer to "not" lift my truck if possible.

If you are using an after market wheel and get no rub on the suspension arms, how much do your tires stick out.

Thanks in advance.

nice clear post. i have a leveling kit and a 1" block in the rear on my 00 and originally ran 315 bf goodrich all terrains on the stock aluminum wheels, but they did rub the trailing arms on full lock. i didnt like that very much so i went with some 16X8 (dont do 16X10) american eagle wheels. now there is only a slight rub at about 50% turn radius on a hard bump, this has only happened about 3 or 4 times in about 6 months so it is very minimal. the tires do stick out, but i think it looks just right, it does make it a little harder to keep the truck clean though. there are pictures in my gallery and i will attach the best on to see for yourself how they look.

I don't see anything wrong or dirty ( except for thst chevy thing on your back window :-laf ) about your truck?. Look's like what a truck should look like. :)

ha ha thanks, and yea that sticker gets alot of attention, and alot of smoke dumped in durasmax grilles :-laf

LOtero, thanks for the reply. That was exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Great pic's too. Love the look of the tires on the truck. I'm decided. That's what I'll go with. I think I'll go with 17" wheels though. I figure that since they're stock on the H-2, they'll probably be easy to get if I ever run into a problem on the road.

yup if i could do it again i would go with hummer wheels, or at least 17s of some sort. hummer wheels can be found for pretty cheap on ebay from time to time, i actually got out bid at the last second but would have taken them home for 225 plus 65 for shipping. good luck!
