Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) what will it take?

2001 ETH DEE 4x4. What will it take to get to 600HP preferable on just #2? How much is the engine going to have to come apart? I'm trying to decide between just gradualy upping the power on the truck or getting a second engine and doing a performance rebuild then swaping the engines. Thanks.

RWHP??? Not sure if you can get 600 RWHP outta the ETH with no drugs and the VP44. I think the Bully Dog step 5 injectors coupled with a high end competition fueling box will bring you close to if not slightly over 500 RWHP. If you really want 600, I think you will need to get the P pump on that block.



I don't know where I am now, but it's enough for me as a daily driver. I'm going to get the head o-ringed next year, if the head gasket lasts that long, then either add twins or a NOS kit, just for kicks.
