So I finally saw the PINKS show with the bully dog truck and the S10

The gasser guys were saying the bully dog truck had 3 power adders.

I would consider what came stock, not a power adder. The motor was designed around a turbo, so it's not really adding power. I would say the second turbo and the nitrous would count for two.

So I take it the Bully dog truck blew a head gasket, hence blowing the radiator. And the last race there they blew a turbo? maybe super heated some rotating mass with no coolant?

I would consider twins and Nitrous as two power adders as does DHRA.

That truck did a bit more than just blow some replaceable/repairable parts. It was a bit more or a mortal wound.

jason , with your setup on your truck whats your egt when racing ?

I've seen around 1400 on hot summer days nearing 100mph. I had some stuff fixed on the juice box. . More smoke, more power. so who knows this summer.

The truck also had water/meth injection ;)

No they did not state that.

But if you listen to the conversation after the 2nd or 3rd race when the driver gets out of the truck he says "that was with the meth on" ;)

The 3rd race they did start to pull away before the S10 ran outa juice :) sneaky! :)

perty crappy of the S10 guys to not bring enough nitrous.

I have that show saved on my dvr, but at one moment after the third race the driver said that was everything water/methanol and propane. They might of been using their propane kit as well. So 4 power adders for the bullydog team and really insane cylinder pressures.

Looks like the Gasser guys didn't catch the water/meth and propane. Tho to an non-diesel person, they wouldn't look for the fact that the windshield wiper tank has a few extra pumps and tubes running from it. :)

I would consider the John Deere Gator that we used to pull the Bullydog truck back to it's pit from the staging lanes at IRP last year a power adder :-laf
