What year?

I was hoping some one could tell me what year did our trucks come equipped with the factory harness equipped for a tach. I have the early 91.

Should be '91. 5, when they intercooled them. There are always exceptions to these rules.

Just for kicks, look under the dash. Left of column, grey flat 4 wire plug. Usually taped to something, like the top of the harness, or a bracket.

Ok, will look at it tomorrow, it's at a buddy's garage. Rebuilding the getrag, seems like I seen A plug like that when I was tracing various wires. Having to redo alot of the PO's half#$$ wiring scab jobs.

The 91 models were a bit messed up when it comes to consistency. It may or may not have the tach harness. Seen them both ways.
