You seem to be on the right track, but... If you plan to leave the transmission stock, you should not go beyond an Edge EZ (been there done that, burned up mine (stock) in less than 10,000 miles with just an Edge Comp, and my full throttle or no throttle driving  ).

I highly recommend that you call Michael at Hot Rod Diesels (see sig).

He will help guide you in the right direction, based on your budget and expectations.

Sounds like your heading right to where I am right now. But as far as what to do about your transmision, I have a Goerend Bro,s Single disc TC and a reworked Valve body. Dave is a great guy and doesnt mind talking and sharing his nich if expertise. Plus if you need to upgrade your TC he will let you send back yours for a stronger one and only charge you the difference. But be honest with youself and others you are getting advice from about where you want to end up because the words all of us have ringing in our ears is "All I want to do is".

The truck is a 2001 24 Valve Automatic QC 4X4 134000 Miles and maybe some day I will pull it but not ever weekend. I want to do the transmission upgrad frist so i do not do anything to the transmission. Do you guys thing jammer 1 or 2 injectors the 2 are about $40 more in prices . Thanks again

Like said above, call Dave Goerend, you're not too far from him. If you truely aren't going to add anything more than stated above, go with stage two injectors. Otherwise, I'd recommend stage three or four. I had a muffler elimination kit. Took it off after about a month, did nothing for the truck, and went with 4" turbo back. Look into a bigger air filter too, NAPA's got em pretty cheap. Also, look into a better set of intercooler boots, the stockers tend to blow off when adding more power.

I will put the 4" turbo back someday but for now I am just putting the elimination kit on and I am going to put a fleetguard Ah19037 BHAF on. I do not think I will add any more after this but you know how that go all way have to have more power. I want to start out small but this will be good for me for now I hope.
