2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What'dya think I can get for my 98 5 speed

Hey everyone, I am considering upgrading to a new truck and hate the thought of trading in my baby. I know it is worth a ton more to me than any dealer would consider. Here are the details. She's a 98 SLT shortbed extended cab, 5 speed, 230,000 on the clock. Straight piped, AFE, fuel plate, full gauges pillar mounted, two tone red/silver, no dents, no scratches. Clearcoat on red starting to fade.



Basically I am just looking for an idea of what to ask if I decide to private party sell it. Any comments are appreciated.

12 valve or 24? I've seen a couple 12's go lately with similar mileage for about 15k. Personally, I'd pay more for a 12 valve of the same year but that's just me.

It would be worth 10k to me. 230k is a little high. How much hauling has it done?

She's only done about 4000 miles with a 28' f/w behind. Not too much really. I'm really torn about selling it though. It's been so good to me, I'm afraid I would never get one as good as it has been!

I would love to have it, but why not keep it? Sounds like a great truck and that you are very attached to it. Are you going to use the money from the sale for a down payment?
