2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission whats a good break system for my truck

Going to be driving to alaska from california want to do the breaks befor I go. wondering whats the best set up for my 98 2500 beast? slotted rotors, metalic pads,kevlar pads,disk on the rear? If im going to do it, i want to do it right and have the best possible stopping.
