Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Whats a totaled 94 worth?

I found a 1994 regular cab auto 4X4 with 171k miles that was totaled and the asking price is $3500 firm. It was a front collision but it stopped before engine contact 1 fan blade touched the radiator. it also has the driver side cab and box smashed in. I was wondering what the driveline components could be worth if parted out. The owner will not sell parts its a complete sale only. I think the engine alone could be worth the $3500 or am I way off. Let me hear some feed back as I do not think it will be there for long I can buy it for that if someone out there in TDR land is interested in buying parts from it.

Engine isn't worth that I don't think. If it was a 215 pump the pump is probably worth $5-$700. I think it has the wh1c charger. You could probably make a little money on it.

Engine complete $1500-2000

Rear end is a 70 $400

Front end if it isn't worn out $500

transmission make somebody a core $250

Transfer case is probably a light duty $400



SO you could make some money off of it just those prices might be low, but unless you want to sit on it for awhile then those are pretty fair. I got $600 out of my DLD 241, but I had it for over a year, and somebody local needed one like now. I got $350 out of my dana 70 that was an open.

I just talked to a local guy that buys lots of dodge cummins and he sell all engines for 2800 but he pulls the head on all engines to inspect before the sale and he sells with head gasket kit. 3500 is stretching it I think 2500 would be more realistic.
