What's a Whell Simulator?

OK, Somehow I missed something, and I don't understand the terminology of a device called a "wheel simulator. " I understand what a wheel is; and I understand what a simulator is. In my book, these terms have nothing to do with each other.



I understand replacement wheels. But what is this simulator stuff that I see advertised? Sorry I'm so dense...



Actually, I've had a bad day today -- I shutdown an entire chemical plant by accident. I hope they got it started back up...

They are just a wheel cover or hub cap. If you have a plain steel wheel and want to dress it up, get a chrome wheel simulator. It's a poor mans aluminum wheel.



99% of them look hokey and you can see they are just a cover.



You may face disciplinary action on Monday for shutting down the plant. :-laf
