I will be going from the HO to a SO pump soon and wana go bigger than my M4s. Whats the next cleanest best mileage having stick thats in the 200-220 range?

I have never run anything but my 4s. Several new players out there FBD 200s Fireball 200s DDP 200s what to choose?

Far fewer members hang out in this forum now that they've gone on to 3rd gen trucks--I've noticed it myself. Of the people remaining who regularly check out the 2nd gen forums, there are probably very few who have 1st hand experience with more than one make of injectors of the level you're talking about.

Personally I'd stick with F1 injectors, maybe check out the Mach 5s?

Rivercat as Mike said above I've noticed a big change in the number of folks surfing the 2nd gen categories as well. I also agree with Mike about the M5s, I've had them for at least 2-3 years now and love them. No smoke unless the box is cranked up and/or you dump the go pedal from a stop. Mileage no change over stock, or the M1. 6s I started out with. As for other than F1 type injectors, a buddy let me use a set of 100hp BDs after I sold my M1. 6s and was waiting for my 5s to arrive. All I can say is it idled rough, didn't seem to have the umph the 1. 6s did and used more fuel. Stick w/the F1s, you can sell them to off-set the cost of your 5s . . .

wow M6s with the ps62 does that get toasty quick? I am limited to 4s now because the Virgin HO is well worn and I doubt it would push any extra fuel with 5s or 6s. I would love to trade my SPS 62 for your PS I just dont have the fuel to spool it like I want, but it shines on topend I just never drive it there much, id rather have better spool and live with the heat.

I did a . 020 over HG at the time I upgraded my ps62/14 to SPS 62/14 im sure that hurt bottem end and spool too, maybe more than the bigger bachend on the SPS.

I tryed to sell the HO and bought a supposed "sheid" SO pump. it came in a sheid box even smelled like calibration fluid, but it was an old core(popped 0216 in 10 secs and boiled white smoke)so I got my money back and I vowed to never pull the stocker till she dies...

No it doesn't get toasty at all. I don't have a fueling box other than a Smarty, so between that and my cam, I rarely see over 1150 preturbo towing my 6k pound camper up the "less than mountain" grades around where I live. I never drive WOT long enough to get it over 1250 with my setup. By the time it might go over 1250, I am already redlined, so it is a very good setup for me. I don't even smoke towing as long as I ease into the throttle. The 12cm housing really makes it drive nice.

wow sounds like a good setup I was always a advocate of less box more injector.

what cam?
I read a few threads with Don M and Greg H arguing back and forth like children and my head spun and I gave up the notion. Seems like a lot of trouble with not much gain to me. Especially after all the talk about regrinds eat tappets and this ramp slams the valve and that ramp doesnt spin the tappet to dissipate heat, im bout gave up on it. Im not sure I would appreciate the extra airflow without a all out twinset and shower heads.

What was your experience? power? problems with install?

seems like for most 2 gens the gain is mostly in changing the mopar inconsistant/spongy springs and not so much the cam swap. I might do the springs then the cam later if I really need/want it.
