What’s different in the “new upgraded” 68rfe?

I keep reading about this new upgraded 68rfe, what makes it better?

I’m assuming a revmax 550 is still better than anything Chrysler can build...please correct me if I’m wrong.

I guess nobody ever answered the question about the 68rfe from what I was told by my transmission guide supposedly the 19 is a lot better and supposedly it has to be friction discs in the torque converter don't know if that's true or false but that's what he told me which I'm not sure but who knows sorry nobody's answered except me I'm looking at a 68rfe truck with a 410 rear end in a crew cab long bass 3500 so who knows.

I've never heard the specifics, only that it was upgraded along with 50 ft/lbs of torque on the 68rfe trucks. I wouldn't expect the changes were major.
