So, post the thing (diesel truck related) that you most want to see in your stocking this year and why you want it.

What we are looking for with this contest:

- Ideas about what products you're wanting to have or learn more about in 2009

- A few good laughs (because we know how witty you can be)

The prize? A 4/2/1 filter maintenance kit for your truck (provided by Geno's Garage) or a $100 gift certificate to Geno's Garage (your choice).

Winner will be posted no later than December 25, 2008.

Merry Christmas!

My boss got one of those big trucks (it's a four letter word and should not be spoken on a family site) and well I like those seats! I wonder if the dodge santa will make me a brown newbuck leather seat that will fit into my 95... heated seats of course:)

A set of Dodge OEM Fog Lights so I can see better at night !

Ohh yeah and 4 new Tires to replace the original BFG stock tires that now have 98,000 + Miles on them !

I hope that santa's elves can cobble together improved bolt-on headlights and improved foglights (I already have the factory versions). I'm refuse to ask for a cow catcher for the front of our truck.

P. S. I have been very good.

P. P. S. If you can't bring that please bring some nice looking wheels with factory width and offset.

P. P. P. S. Please don't cheese out and bring me bushwackers...

Must be quick, wife is in the room. Exhaust, new dash (only Santa could make one that doesn't crack), spray-in bed liner, Disk brakes,... ... . :{too late guys, wife just said that anything that goes in the stocking has to be approved by her. Heres to hoping you guys have better luck with Santa's helper.

Can I stretch my stocking a little?

Our good editor wants to know what I would like, as long as I can fit it in a stocking. Let's see, that makes it a bit sticky. Although I have a 06 2500 SLT, I could pull a bigger trailer with a bigger truck. That would be very nice to get, a new 4500 set up to pull a RV trailer. Just think about it! But wait, I have to find a stocking to fit the thing into. My gosh! I might have to have that stocking custom made, I don't know anyone who wears anything anywhere near that size. Then I have to figure out how to get it out of the stocking, no small feat in itself. And then there's the problem of getting it down off the mantle without doing any more damage than that done getting it put there in the first place. On second thought I think I'll pass on the new truck, the repairs to my family room floor, ceiling, chimney, and the rental of the crane to lift the truck out of the basement (since the floor didn't hold) and back onto my driveway might all cost more than the truck is worth. I better think again.

Well, like everyone, I'd like to improve my fuel economy, even though fuel cost has dropped some lately. Good thing I already have a cold air intake kit, those parts would take a stocking bigger than anything I have around.

I think my choices actually come down to two. I could ask for a programmer which would definitely help my truck and I know that it would fit either into one of my heavy wool calf-high hunting socks (maybe I have to call them stockings) or it would fit the decorative stocking I have which I hang on the mantle to receive gifts. Either way I know that I could hang up the stocking and be confident the gift would fit.

The other choice is also appealing, but I would have to get my wife to cooperate on this one. I could use a new T304 stainless exhaust which would look great while helping with fuel economy and really help the engine breathe along with my existing cold air kit. Together they really help get the power out of that wonderful cummins.

My wife's help? You saw it coming, didn't you? I need some pantyhose to use as stockings for the stainless pipes. It'll probably ruin them too, she's only 5' 4" and I think those pipes will stretch the pantyhose a bit, but I think that they would hold although the pipes might hang out some. Yep that's it, it's a real winner. A new T304 stainless exhaust hanging from the mantle stuffed in a pair of pantyhose stockings. I can't wait!

Stocking Stuffer

Here's my stocking stuffer wish...

How about 30 gallons of diesel in the stocking?

I know it will leak through,,, but maybe I could use the stocking as a pre-filter into my tank. :D

I am easy to please, except my wife can't figure out how to order or pay for the things I want. I need a new dash, but that will not fit in a stocking. I would like an upgraded transmission, (think gift certificate), but I'm pretty sure the 2wd low range switch from Geno's would make me happy. I'm pretty sure it would fit in a stocking also. JC

Dear Santa,

I would like guages, the Auto Meter Boost (0-60) and the Egt guage in the Z series will do fine.

I think the Mule is getting old enough now to monitor its lungs and heart.

Thank goodness I don't have to monitor its brain.

Still believing in you after all these years, Bill

P. S. If you could fit a two guage full pillar mount in my stocking I could use one of those too.

Gee Since ending the financial crisis and bringing home the troops is not for my truck I guess I would have to go with a 304 stainless intake plenum in my stocking.

Merry Xmas to All

I know well that my stocking will be empty this year. And under the tree will be bare. I just ordered the Road Armor bumpers front and rear today. That will compliment the Quad XZT+ and 4" exhaust that I installed in September and the Packbrake Airsprings that went on in August. And, Oh, I almost forgot. The Kore HP Leveling Kit that arrived Monday that is laying on the bench in the garage.

My hope is that when Hussein shuts down the coal industry, my lump will be worth more than diamonds.

Fass 150,Industrial Injection 25hp injectors,Dynatrac hubs,Carli leveling kit and a nice Goerand full build 48re.

Also would like peace on earth but I have as much chnce for that as I do getting all those other things!

Happy Holidays to TDR and all who visit here-Great site that makes owning my Cummins all that much better. :)

I would love to have a mag-Hytec double deep pan for my 06. to keep the trans as happy as i can, due to the abuse i do to it!

I want diesel to stay at 2. 40/gal for the next couple of years!!!

I have had a hard time thinking of things I want for Chirstmas. My mom, sister, wife ect. . keeping wanting to know what I want and I really don't want anything that they would be willing to get me. Since my mom is a couple of minutes from the Lacey, WA Cabela's I keep telling her, just get me a Cabela's gift card.

My wife asks, and I say just get me gift cards for Lowe's, Home Depot and Starbucks or give me Saturday's where I am free to work on things I want too (trucks and quads). I would love to come home from work on Friday and see the weeds pulled, grass mowed etc... Free time is more important to me than getting a bunch of crap. We had to tell my mom a couple of years ago, NO MORE NICK/NAKS and no more dust collectors.

Twas the night before christmas and all through the garage, not a turbo was spooling, not even a dodge. The tools were hung, by the welder with care, in hopes a mechanic would soon be there.

The gearheads were nestled all snug in their beds, with visions of big stacks smoking in their heads.

With the wife in the bed and I on the couch, I was reading TDR as content as a mouse.

When in front of the house I heard a loud grumble, for a waste gate had opened and a cummins unraveled.

The white bearded man who left in a dash, droped off on the porch my shiney new aussie 7 inch stacks.

All right - now this is creative! Nice job.
