I opted for the fancy bilstein stabalizer when I bought my KORE chase kit.

A few days ago I was driving on some roads on my property. Came across a downed tree, pretty small one, decided to drive over it, and off to one side a little to clear the branches. Got the first tire over and it didn't want to go any further, put in reverse, didn't want to go back. Put it back in drive and it went a little ways. Put it back and reverse and gave it some juice and came back over the tree. Turned around and left for home.

Got to the end of the main road and noticed the steering wheel was moving alot. Got out and looked, and the whole shock body was gone!

That was the first, and last, time I buy and expensive stabalizer.

Carli Suspension's double shock steering stabilizer system mounts above the axle and provides axle shield. Pricey but nice. My cheapo Rancho setup continues to do the job.

I made a rancho that I took off of my jeep work for now. Had to grind the axle end sleeve to fit, and a bolt, washers and one one of the kore heim spacers, though the stock hole in the tie rod and it works just as good as the bilstein did.

Where do you get Carli's dual setup and about how much are we looking at?

Thay do show they have it for the 04 trucks but I don't see who sells them

Thanks

His website is:www.thecarlisuspension.com You can e-mail him for info. It may take a couple of days to reply. He informed me of the release of his chromealloy control arms in about three weeks for 2nd, gens. They'll be $1050. Pricey but strong and well researched. He's got a few dealers listed on the site or you can go to his Orange Co. location. Good guy.

1050 for four arms. Shoot. I might need to make something similar. We are talking $100 in chromoly tube, 16 johny joints, notching and welding. I dont know where one can get a chromoly bodied johny joint, as it sees to be a waste if your weld is not as strong as the tube.

I've got the Carli/Fox/Defiant dual fox stabilizer w/ diff guard. It is made with 1/4" and 3/8" plate steel. Very heavy duty. Best design I've seen for a steering stabilizer...
