What's my truck worth?

I believe I am going to sell the truck. The question have for the great members of this site is what do you think the truck is worth. Details of the truck are in my sig. It has 77,000 miles on it, it is all highway miles and never towed a thing. It is complete with tow and plow package. Let me know what you think. Thanks guys.

I got 27,500 total . sold it to a friend for 26,000 and went through the dealer for a 1500. 00 tax savings on my new one,when it gets here,It was a 3500 larimie 6 speed,long bed,exhaust brake,nav radio,52,000 miles

Ram 2500 or 3500? SRW or DRW? SLT, SL, Laramie or Sport? You could go to Edmonds website and get the blue book value on your truck for a start.

It is a 2500 SRW Shortbed. I started looking on line to see what it was worth, but I figured this would be the best place to get true numbers.

My local dealership has a cherry '03 similar to yours, with 30k miles.

I offered them $25,000 for it, and they didn't take it.

(I subsequently bought new. )

It is on their lot right now, and has been for the last 5 weeks.

They are asking $28,000.

Private sale is tough, you cannot offer the financing like a dealership can, I would say around $24k, advertise it for $25k and see what offers you get, no one ever wants to pay what you are asking.

J, just checked Kelley Blue Book on my 03'. Suggested retail was $31,000, Private Party Price was $27,000 and Trade in Value was $23,000. My truck is an 03' 3500 Quad Cab Short Box 4x4 Bright Silver SLT 305/555. Mileage is 53,000. Have the Std options with Mopar bedliner, wheel liners, mud flaps-no leather. Replaced the BFG 315s 5000 miles ago. If I put mine up for sale, I'm probably going to ask for $24,500. I hate to sell it. Depends on what a new one will sell for verses how much the bank will sell mine to me for(I leased).

Thanks guys. I think I am going to list it for $25,000. The truck is spotless so I hope I can get it. It is all highway miles. I am running amsoil in the engine and rears. I installed the a PML trans pan at 30,000, so the truck has been maintained well. Hope this will help with the sale.
