Lana's test results are in.

Kal-Kan Chunky Pig-by product dog food works great to mask the scent but does little to control perspiration. If you open both ends of the can you pop it up just like stick deodorant. One can is good for months of normal usage.

Deodorant

Mopar friction modifier because: 1. it lasts through several washings, what economy!!

2. you smell like a dead squid on a sunny beach 3. you dogs (all dogs) will love you 4. you smell SO bad no one would dare to comment 5. its also waterproof!!! ;)

I’ve found a mixture of decanted WD-40 mixed with androstnone, a drop or two of #1diesel, a splash of androstenol, a shot of ether, and some androsterone all well shaken and applied with a bacon rind to be both long lasting and highly aromatic. This stuff really works! Trust me!   :D :D

Depends on the time of year, but from September thru December, my favorite is cow elk urine... I get it in a jelly type substance, and spread it on quite thickly.

Personally, I believe that fox urine is the best for masking, although recent studies have found that the 'doe in heat' blocker actually helps to absorb more sweat during strenuous activities. I would avoid the 'doe in heat' during the fall rutting season, could get ugly. :D

My Lab decided that skunk odor was a good deodorant last week, while Mrs Doc and I were on vacation. My daughter had to give him a tomato juice bath and she was very unhappy about it. Glad I wasn't here :D

I don't mind skunk stink, unless it's real strong.

If none of the above work for you, try putting a couple of crushed cloves of garlic in a small sachet and wearing around your neck, a small amount of asafetida can also be added.
