what's the diff between a '03 and '03 1/2?

The later 03's have the option of (Light Group) and 6 Disk CD.

There was also a programming change in the ECM (or is it PCM?) for controlling the exhaust brake. On an early '03 truck, if the APPS is at idle and the speed is zero and the water temp is above 190*, the brake will turn off. Mine never meets the temp requirement, so the brake will hiss while I sit at a traffic light. Later in the year, they changed the temp level to 170*, so the brake will shut off at traffic lights. A search of Carleton Bale's posts should turn up his more accurate description of this change.



I'm still hoping a reflash will be bocme availble to make mine work this way (hint, hint )
