2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Whats the difference?

Hey guys I was thinking about putting a 2nd gen clubcab body on my 1st gen. Has anyone ever done this and how hard was it? TIA, Chris

I think you will have some problems with the body to frame. I'm not sure, but I think the 2nd frames are different from the 1st gen as the 3rd gen frames are different from the 2nd gen.



Not saying it can't be done, but my bet is that you will need to do a prefit and then mod the mounting point on the frame for the body.

Isnt the first gen. frame about 5" shorter than a second gen. ?

I think it will be a lot more trouble then it's worth. Beside, the 1st gen will never ride and handle as good as the 2nd gen.
