What's the latest reflash on a 09 and other questions?

I think my February build 2009 is at AJ. What's the latest reflash?

If there is a newer reflash will that install the bootloader or whatever it is that causes trucks to not start after a downloader has been used.

I don't have a downloader but always thinking of the future.

I must say this is the best truck out of any truck I have owned and that included 3 other Dodge Cummins.

In oct. it was (AS). My mileage went down but it was also getting colder so weather it was from the flash or not I don't know. Other than that it runs about the same.

Any body have information on the new flash not allowing a programmer to work on a truck that previously could use a programmer.

Dealer flashes do not contain the "bootloader" ... . Only if you have to replace the ECM or bought a truck on/after 3/09. .

Thats great mine was manufactured 12/08 by the sticker on the drivers door.

No, but I imagine like the last few, it deals w/ regen & help w/ diagnostics for problems for the tech.

Is there any way for us to tell what Flash version is loaded without going to a dealer?

there should be a sticker on core support or air con condenser to tell you what flash your truck has
