leaky transmission pan; help!

I think you got it right in your question, "air straightener", as that is what it is supposed to do so the turbo gets a good bite on it without the air being whirling in the wrong direction. I guess it could be called an air foil??? bg

that's what it does, and MOST accounts from users say it works. i am looking for the brand name of the product already out there!

I think the name starts with "AIR" and I know there are several revisions that have 1,2,3 at the end, but for the life of me I can't remember the brand name of the product.

air dog, air tex, air head, air port, air jordan..... ?

My TAG which I have used since it came out is in the front (jammed in) on my HT Pro66, one thing that most don"t think about is the TAG stops objects from entering the Turbo and wrecking it!

You should do a search before you buy one. A few members on here had them come apart. Not really a good thing to happen right in front of your turbo.

I'm not saying they're good or bad, just saying research them before you buy one. ;)

FYI - from my understanding 1st gen. TAGs were made of plastic that could come apart.

2nd or 3rd gen TAGs made out of metal

I have had the cool tube, TAG III and PSM cold air intake from Diesel Power Products. (Diesel Performance Parts Power Chips Duramax Exhaust Kits Suspension Air Intakes)

All of the upgrades listed above have been on my 04. 5 for years without

ANY problems. Definite improvement over stock, would do it again.

Yes the latest TAG is a solid piece that would take a lot to come apart. When an old intake I had installed started falling apart inside, the tag caught all the fragments. Saving the intake impeller

Thanks for all the info. I am contemplating using a couple of these (if the sizes work out) on my 09 Subaru WRX with an aftermarket air intake. The MAF readings go a little funky with the change in intake tube according to my tuner, so I want to play with a couple TAGs to see if anything changes. It is my mid-life commuter so I don't have to put 350 miles a week on the truck running empty! Convinced the wife that a 0% loan and the $1500 cost of new tires on the truck was worth it... I am horrible! :-laf
