Got my cold front yesterday, shipped in from Billings, Montana. My question. At what temp does your truck normally run, on the highway. The center of the gage, needle straight up, is 200.

\-------200-------/

That's how my normal range looks. I would think, in a normal climate, the needle would run just to the left of 200. Is that where yours runs? Today, when I had all the vents on the cold front closed, she ran at 200. I opened one flap and it was to the left. I'm looking for what's normal so I can adjust the correct number of flaps to reach that point. Got the truck in December and I live in Minneapolis so the truck has not seen normal temperatures yet. Thanks.

She's usually just left of the center. however it don't take much throttle to get it straight up in the center even empty.

Mine runs about 190 on recirc with no cold front and about 170 with the vents open. Summer is always in the 190-200 range for me, but I don't tow heavy.

Mine is pretty consistant regardless of the outside temps. Runs 195 - 205 all the time. She does not stay at 205; when she touches it, she quickly comes back to 195 - 200 (the helicopter fan usually kick in at 200 - 205, bringing it back down). I think these engines are set up with a 200* thermostat.

I noticed that you live in Texas... I used to live in San Antonio and can report first hand that there is no such thing as cold down there. Above 20, my temps are pretty consistant, but below 0 it is awful tough to warm this beast up.
