Whats the scoop on D1 status?

Ok, I ordered my truck at the end of July and the dealer told me close to three weeks ago that it is in D1 status, and he doesnt have anymore information than that.



So whats the insider track on finding out more about when/where/invoice/status of a truck on D1 status.

Call the Dodge 800 number on the web site that Bob Wagner posted and give them either the VIN or the order number and they will tell you what's going on. They will give you a rail car number and you can track it on the Union Pacific web site. D1 status means it's entered in the system and has a date to be built but it's just sitting there waiting for the build date to arrive. I don't think it should be in D1 status for three weeks though. Call Dodge and find out.
