whats this about re-flashing the ECM??

I just did a serch on cruise controlls. Mine gains an xtra 10 mph then falls off. Its a POS. So i read that a few of you had a reflash and that cured it. Then i found the TSB on Geno's web site. They can also reflash for low power with an auto transmission i think. It gave dates ect. How can i see if i am running the latest software or does it even matter and is the dealer the only one qualified to do reflashing. I dont mind a "hacker" dooing it... . RRR

You need to read the TSB's and have the dealer reflash it.

And Good Luck. Some have had good results and some have not.

I read the TSB complained of low power and Layton Hills Dodge reflashed mine. West Valley dodge is very good at this too if your in the SLC area. It helped me in terms of smoother shifting but I havent pulled the boat yet so the pwr ?? is still there.
