It sounds like my trailer ball is dry and is rubbing when I turn. That's what i thought it was but didn't have the trailer the other day and it did it when I turned. Sorry about the description but that's the best way to describe it. I will pull the tires this weekend and check it out. Any ideas? Could it be from the rear differential? Seems to be worse when I have the trailer in tow.

Check back springs for a broken leaf, rear diff fluid level, carrier bearing, universals, then continuing forward - lift each front wheel individually about 2" and stick a big bar under the wheel prying up as you grab top of wheel with free hand and pull out/push in to check ball joints for play - fluid level in front diff, axel end joints, drive shaft double cardigan joint, could be dry ball joint, rod ends, track bar - not much left to check now . . . trans mount??? doubtfull. Good luck
