2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission whats this thing worth??

One of my customers wants to buy my '02 3500. Wants to trade his '97 2500 Club Cab 4X4 automatic with 170K on the clock. Burgandy and silver with gray guts. Nice truck that is not a work truck. Big tires I believe it has Ranch hand Bumpers front and rear.

I know what newer trux are worth but I am a little stumped on this one... ... ... ... ... anyone have a clue?? PS: It is bone stock.

Of course it is a CTD. Down here in Texas we call a Dodge with a gas motor... ... . a waste! I forgot to say that it has a fresh NBF transmission ($2800).

If the '97 would bring $10K, I think I could make it work and buy the 03 my dealer ordered for me a few weeks ago. The '03 is suppose to be shipped on the 16th of this month. Built in Mexico.

barry, run the older truck by your dealer and see what he will give you on trade torwards you 03 when it gets here.
