Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What's this truck worth????

Hey,

I am looking at a truck that is for sale locally and wanted opinions on what it is worth... ...



It is a 1995 2500 Reg. Cab 4x4 12v Auto that is geared 4:10. It has the SLT PKG, and a power seat. It runs and drives really good. Transmission is smooth. It is Maroon and silver. The body is very straight but needs the silver painted. It is flaking off. It has new Michelin's with the chrome wheels. Interior is showing a little wear but not much. It has 160K miles.



The only thing I noticed about the truck is that it is a little hard to start when cold. If you let it go thru the grid heater wait light, then try to start it will start then immediately die. I had to do this about 4 times before it would stay running. Is this the heater grid? What does it cost to fix if it is???

I saw your post. Is it somewhere in the tri-cities? I would be more than happy to meet you to take a look at it as well. I can see if anyone has tried to get inside the pump. The starting problem sounds like a combination of low timing and low idle. These can be fixed really easily.

As far as price, I would pay no more than $9500.
