if you followed my post march 6 my 02 ho 6 speed [trailer and two bikes] were stolen from orman beach fla so i bought a 03 dually ho auto [ really miss my 02 ] my ? is 3 times now for a nano second the check gauges lite comes on i see it out of the corner of my eye sets no codes what up wit dat also where is the lift pump craled around under the truck sunday could not find it thanks

The check gauges flashing problem has been relatively common among these trucks. Most have written it off as "software bugs". Don't sweat it.



As for the lift pump, it's bolted to the side of the fuel filter assembly on the backside (firewall side).

My truck has done the light thing less as miles (7K now) rack up - Don't worry, it is indeed normal.

You may also notice your overhead shows "--" every once in a while when you turn on the key, that's normal too and will correct itself when you cycle the key.

TSB is out for the check gauges light, but the CD the dealer needs to flash the cluster will not be out until end of April.

i was really unhappy with this truck i loved that 02 the 6 speed with the ez was unbeliveble the 03 felt like a slug but the new ez woke it up still miss the 02

yo, g. ize been havin same thing wid my o3 wid the check guages lite be comin on. i be gettin tired of it. went to the selling dlr and the homie said he aint never heard of no probs wid noone else havin that happen and dc lied to the homie and said it aint no prob. im gwine go to another dlr when they gots the ability to fix the prob. done it to me nearly a dozen times. jes flash me for a sec then off it go.



tell ya homies what. i loved my 02 [along wid my 98. 5] but sho like my 03 even better. and it ran decent stock,[much stronger] for a 9250lb beast, but it sho woke up wid a couple little additions and the sucka scoots nowOo.



glad ta here someone else has this prob and i aint alone and even gladder dc gots a fix coming
