On or about the 16'th of Jan I made an order for a westach fuel-pres gauge. It took till the 26 of jan to notify me that it was back-orderd. If I had known at time of order I wouldn't have made it and orderd it from another source!10 days thats a JOKE!

Once notified I promply orderd from another source and cancelled my geno's order.

Ive just got back from a remote location to find that they billed my card on feb 1 02 after my cacelation on jan 26.

Before I had a chance to call about it the post office had a parcel to pick-up. The girlfriend picked it up and it was that order from geno's that I had cancelled. After paying the $19. 60 for the customs crap she brought it home.

Know I have to wait for some flippen return form in the mail to return this thing and take the time to do a US postal parcel mailing.

I don't work 9-5 or any set days but as a rule I'm gone and unable to do the mailing myself. This realy sucks because now the girlfriend will have to make a special trip away from her bussines during working hrs.

I have dealt with them in the past and read lots of good things about them,thats why they got my support right of the hop. Next time I will have to think twice after this.

You don't list your location, but if you paid customs, you are probably from Canada... That's just one of the bennies of living up north... :D Seriously, I'm sure you gave them a call, but Geno's has always been very good on orders I placed with them. I guess every business has it's bad days, but I'll bet they tried to make it right, if you called them and talked to the customer service rep... ;)

I got a check today for a gauge I bought that I did not need. 4 days. Call Robin. Robert keep her in line. Oo. Oo.

Westach Source?

Any one know of any other mail or online sources for the westach F. P. gauge? If genos can't fill back orders soon I'll have to look elsewhere because I really want matching gauges in a triple mount. TIA, Jim G.
 
My wife ordered me a Boost guage and a steering wheel mount for Xmas, Maybe December 5th. Still no guages and I have called twice. If you cancel your order they will probably charge it anyway. I got charged twice for the DDtrany pan. I had to call about 10 times to get $266 credited to my card. GENOS SUCKS.

Ive always had good luck with Genos. I ordered my gauge and it was put on backorder. I received a letter stating when they expected the gauge and I received via UPS. Arrived when they said it would. In fact the sender has a build date of 01-11-02. I installed the gauge along with the steering column mount last weekend. I should add that when using the column mount the guage face should not stick out more than 3/8". The Westach has a large face and I had to be very tricky in the install so that it would clear the steering wheel.
 
Other's told their story - I'll tell mine.



When I needed a pillar mount for my gauge, I had only a few days before leaving on a major trip. I wanted my pyro in and working, FAST. Someone at Geno's, after hours, went back into the warehouse, packed it themselves, and carried the package to an after-hours Fed Ex drop on their way home. The service I got was FANTASTIC - I hope everyone will be able to work things out, and get to feel good about Geno's the way I do. Good Luck, and once you get things worked out, don't forget to check back here and post your hopefully happy ending!
 
I have ordered from Geno's a few times and have had nothing less than PERFECT service. I think there might be a couple of pieces missing to this mystery.

Anybody else have anything positive or negative to add?

I experienced great customer service through Geno's with my gauge and pillar mount order. The mount was backordered two weeks, but they were very upfront with me. When it did arrive, it was the wrong unit, so they shipped the correct unit out with all paperwork and postage to cover the return. I will definitely go back. To me, honesty and service are VERY key in my decision on who gets my money.
 
GENO'S IS IT!

I cannot imagine any problem with Genos! I have nothing to say other than they are thee ones to deal with! From the "smoothie" to the Westach Boost/EGT. I had purchased the filter set and one of the oil filters had bad threads... called Robin and two days later there was a new one in my mailbox! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!:D



From tech assistance to service I have had heard and experienced nothing but the best from GENOS!Oo.



You just need to call and talk to them rather than slander them here!:{ ... . IMO

Geno's

I have ordered from them five or six times and never had a problem. I have never talked to them as I have always ordered online. I also ordered the fuel pressure guage and 3 hole pillar mount. I received a email stating the pillar and guage was backordered and a future delivery date for them. The parts arrived the day I was told. Couldn't ask for more than that. Keep up the good work Geno's!!!

I've not ordered from them yet but from all of the other posts on so many other threads telling about the great service provided by Geno's, this is the first thread I've seen that has anything negative to say about Geno's.



When I'm ready to modify my truck, and Geno's has the parts, that's where I'll go.
 
It has been since Xmas. Just called Geno's and they still haven't shipped because of a back order. Two weeks ago the girl said my part was in and would be shipped. Canceled order today, Need a new place to buy filters... ... ... Geno's sucks

It's obvious to me that Geno's just doesn't like you and they have singled you out to provide substandard service... I recommend you get your filters and parts from your local Dodge dealer. They will surely take care of you..... :D
 
I called Geno's to get my guages and a mount. . they were very helpful, they explained that GuageWorks has been behind on production and referred me to a competitor to help me find it. They shiped my order ground instead of 2nd day. When I called they refunded all shipping immediately.



I really can't complain. Everybody makes mistkes and they fix theirs. They also take care of their customers even when it costs them a sale. I will buy from them again.
