I installed my new-from-Cummins transfer pump roughly 5k ago. After the install I read about 12 at idle and roughly the same at cruising speed, and WOT was about 9-10. Here lately I've been getting anywhere from 8-10 at idle and cruise and WOT the gage doesn't move. The readings are very inconsistent. I can crank the truck and get 10 or I can crank it and get 8. Tapping the gage does nothing, tapping and fiddling with the sender under the hood maybe moves the needle by . 5 psi.

What gives? I'm wondering if I got a crappy transfer pump from Cummins. But then I've got a feeling that my sender may be defective. I know I need to lengthen the line form the filter to the sender because it's bent pretty sharply. I'll take some pics and post them soon.

Thanks,
